Student Leadership

Student Expectations

Our school is a fun place. We do a lot of book learning each and every day, and we also do experiential learning. Sometimes this takes the form of trips away from the school or our inviting guests to come into the school to work with students and staff. Lakedell School students are expected to display positive behaviours throughout the school year. This includes being respectful—in words and actions—to all adults and peers while completing assignments and activities to each student’s fullest potential. Students displaying rudeness or defiance, or who are consistently disrupting class operations, are in contravention of these expectations. Additionally, aggressive and bullying behaviours are not acceptable. Any student who repeatedly demonstrates behaviours detrimental to the school’s positive atmosphere cannot expect to participate in school trips and extra activities. Teachers and Mr. Teplyske will determine student participation and consequences.
